Delighted to be informed by the Phelps Community Historical Society that my two images were selected for 1st and 2nd place in the Skyscapes category in their juried photo contest!

I'm pleased to have 3 images featured in the Magic of Light Juried Exhibition running Jan 31-Feb 19, 2017 at Image City in Rochester, NY. The event will host over 110 images from local photographers in this prestigious show!

I'm delighted to receive this email: "Congratulations your picture of the horse was selected as the best picture of an animal in our photo contest. We will be formally announcing the winners at the Historical Society’s Holiday Open House. The event will be held on Saturday December 3 from 5 -7 PM at 55 North Main in Canandaigua."

I'm delighted that two of my photos were selected for the Gallery96 "Canal Towns" juried exhibition! The show will run from Oct. 5, 2016 through November 19, 2016. There will be an opening reception on Friday, October 14, from 6pm to 8:30pm. www.thegallery96.com Come on out and visit!
UPDATE: Well, I'm thrilled to announce that my images won best in show and am honored with the prize of my own gallery show in January 11 - Feb 18, 2017!

My "Shake it Off" image won 3rd place in the Plein Air Les Petits Juried Art Show! All the images are hung at Gallery and Frame in Canandaigua, NY till June 11th.

Receiving the Partner Pick award at this major photography gallery was a real honor! Image City Gallery in Rochester, NY chose my 'Sleepy' image for their top partner pick with a fabulous review explaining their choice. Thrilled to have such a wonderful critique!

Happiness! I received word from the Historical Society and my "Dock on a Pond" image was awarded Best Overall Photograph in the Fall Foliage Photo contest sponsored by the Ontario County Arts Council!

WHOO HOO - First Place! I was just notified "Congratulations. You won the First Place in the Digitally Altered Category in the “Life in the Finger Lakes” 2015 Photo Contest with the photo titled “Erie Canal Stroll in Pittsford.” Publication will be in the November/December 2015 magazine issue!

Had a great time meeting and chatting with people at the Artist's reception at the Gallery and Frame in Canandaigua. The event was described in the newspaper as:
Members of the Ontario County Arts Council will present their work — many of them views of the Finger Lakes and beyond — in the Members Art Exhibit and Sale starting Friday. The council will host its opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. July 8 for the exhibit, to run through Aug. 29, at Finger Lakes Gallery and Frame, 175 S. Main St., Canandaigua.The exhibit features images from the area — South Bristol painter Denise Van Deroef's vineyard acrylic, for instance, or Bloomfield photographer Joann Long's image of the Canandaigua pier boathouses — and elsewhere.
